Wasted Talent is a collection of minds yearning for a deeper, thought-provoking insight into the sub-cultures that we inhabit daily. Focusing on youth culture, skateboarding, surfing, art and music. The magazine is a biannual publication that ranges from 150–200+ printed pages. After the first 5 issues (volumes), which were completed in-house, Studio Thomas Hatton was commissioned to reimagine and re-design the magazine, with the aim of elevating the look of the magazine to feel more sophisticated whilst retaining the core essence of the brand. Following the magazine re-design, we worked on the following 5 issues—Volume VI to X. For Volume XIII, Wasted Talent invited Studio Thomas Hatton to re-imagine the magazine design again.
