The Contemporary Collection Benefactors supports the acquisition of contemporary Australian art for the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ collection. Funds raised by CCB have resulted in more than 300 new works for the collection since the group was established in 1992, including work by noted contemporary practitioners. Contemporary Collection Benefactors 30th Birthday (CCB30) was celebrated with an event held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Working closely with the team at the Art Gallery, we produced the event’s visual identity and collateral, which used a bold and punchy typographic approach. The event collateral featured 30 designed silk banners hanging above the tables, each banner with an artwork from a different year.
