Founded in 1983, Sandlik (previously Sandlik Constructions) work with Sydney’s most prestigious designers and architects to construct award winning luxury residences that instil awe. Almost 40 years later, Sandlik’s core values are firmly intact – build the highest quality luxury residences, and do right by people along the way. Their passion for the people, a love for problem-solving and an eye for detail the company established fortified foundations. Studio Thomas Hatton was commissioned to create a new visual identity for the brand. To give the brand a fresh narrative, we stripped ‘construction’ from their name, leaving them with a bold and striking wordmark. The development of Sandlik’s new visual identity was influenced by the clean lines found in their building constructions paired with the companies ‘pillars’ ethos. We used these references to inform a pulled back and strict typographic approach, with the aim to instil confidence and trust.
