‘Textures de Viatges’ by Guillem Cruells looks back over eight years as a professional filmmaker and photographer. The idea was conceived during the global crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the spring of 2020. The book is a collection of photographs from Guillem’s private collection, initially shot with the intention of capturing such personal memories. Never with the intention for the photographs to end up in a book. ‘Through different and uncertain times, during the isolation, in my professional and personal life, I started to think about these images and what they mean to me on a personal level. Special moments, shared dreams and future projects, in addition to many doubts and thousands of thoughts and reflections.’ — Guillem Cruells
