James Bannister is a British award-winning Documentary, Portrait and Editorial photographer. During 2016 the photographer worked on his (on-going) project ‘What Makes Grass Grow In The Desert’, documenting the wealth of Las Vegas, Nevada through its agriculture. Studio Thomas Hatton worked with James Bannister to art direct and design an editorial piece for his project, conceptualising the idea of mapping the wealth out. Photographs were also supported with details such as image locations, dates and times, which were interpreted and referenced throughout the publication design.
